Thomas
Westphal / Necromaniac, Nr.2/2001:
"Verdammte
solch
eine fette MCD vor den Latz! Death Metal, der ohne viel KlimmBimm
einfach,
roh, brutal aus den Boxen quillt. Die Produktion ist sehr gut
ausgefallen
und verleiht „Fragments of horror“ ein professionelles Flair. Hut ab,
Bengels!“
Hacker
/ Unholy Terror, Nr.3/2001:
"After
only one demo tape, which wasn´t too spectacular, this young band
from the north of Germany released this MCD. EMBEDDED improved a lot
since
this demo tape and delivers on „Fragments of horror” a quality dose of
pure underground Death Metal with good guitar work, a proper production
and the right attitude. Yeah, that´s the way Death Metal should
sound.
No unnecessary shit here just thundering drums, splashing guitars, a
pulsating
bass and a great roaring voice. That´s what I call the perfect
ingredients
for a magnificent Death Metal menu. „Fragments of horror” contains a
short
intro and six brutal and fresh sounding compositions. The tempo ranges
from mid paced to faster stuff. I would describe the style as old
school
Death Metal. I really esteem that they don´t follow any trend or
fashion. No, they just hail unadulterated Death Metal in it´s
purest
form. Nothing more to say, keep an eye on this promising new band.”
